About Us

Based in the heart of England, Total Mast Solutions has developed rapidly and successfully. We now have an international network of distributors supplying telescopic masts for photography, video antennae and communications and many other applications to a worldwide customer base. Simon Bourne, MD, who also heads up sales and product development, is often found with shirt sleeves rolled up developing new equipment, which is always rigorously tested prior to being included in our ranges.

Why use us...

Design and ongoing development is paramount to our organisation. Our customers benefit from the latest technologies as we are constantly discovering new, interesting ways of adapting and developing our systems. We have the capacity to supply affordable, lightweight, portable masts with tripod or car-mounting kit through to 40m bespoke vehicle or trailer mounted systems.

We have been using our own equipment to provide a photographic video service direct to many customers over the years under the name Elevated Photos. We recognise that quick easy deployment by one person is important and we design all of our systems with this in mind. “User friendly” is our keyword! We regularly win national and international photography contracts and since 2010 we have contracted out all photography or other commitments to people who have bought our equipment. This allows us to concentrate on being the best equipment supplier and also gives our mast customers the benefit of extra income. See our blog page for more information.

We have supplied a wide range of customers, including Police Forces, Universities, Security Companies, the Military, Fire Departments, English Heritage and even the Health and Safety Executive. Such high profile work has ensured we have become one of the world's premier suppliers of a wide range of telescopic masts and which have a proven track record for quality and reliability.

In fact...

Our innovative work and export capabilities were recognised when HRH Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, the Lord Lieutenant and Lord Mayor of Leicester visited us. We were able to display our product development and range with practical demonstrations and informal discussions. The Duke of York has a keen interest in photography, and enjoyed his tour of our showroom and workshop.

From our base in the East Midlands, we are able to distribute masts all over the UK and worldwide through our worldwide distribution network. All masts are packed to EU ISO standards and all carry the CE mark of quality.
