Technical Specifications
Introducing our patented, revolutionary Compact Mast Range which has three distinct advantages.
Firstly, the mast sections do not have collars. This means that when retracted, all the sections finish flush, giving it an overall shorter retracted length and, as collars are not required, this makes the mast 12% lighter. You will also note that all compact masts come with a top section mounting which also acts as a cover over all sections when retracted. Please note that mast section clamps for locking tubes when extended are not available on this range and guying eyes are only fitted to the top section.
Why this is good...
This can be a great advantage for vertically fitted masts, through the roof of a vehicle for instance, as the cover/mounting plate protects the mast sections from weather, or dust and sand in desert conditions.
How high are the masts?
There is an easy way of calculating the retracted height by looking at our Royal and Premier Mast tables; note the amount of sections and deduct 13mm for each section. This will give the retracted height. There are various internal spiralled cables available up to 22metres.
Please see our specification tables to find the mast that suits your application and consult the FAQ page before ordering. If you are in any doubt, please contact our experienced sales or technical department who will be happy to help.
