Latest addition to our range - Special anodised coatings!

Posted: May 30, 2012

Our Masts can now be supplied with special anodised coatings such as camoflage or tree bark effect. After a number of customers asked for unobtrusive or "blend into the background" effects on our masts we have included this as a special order item into our range. We are also currently working on a lightweight branch system with leaves, which will be modular and can easily be assembled on location. This will give the appearance of a real tree and we will update our site shortly when this has been tested by our technical team.

New additions to Lightweight and Portable range

Lateral masts

Posted: Dec 23, 2011

After recieving several enquiries for unusual applications we have developed a new mast that opens up a range of new applications for telescopic masts. Using a clever angled guy support system, these masts can now be extended laterally up to 6 metres. Customers typically require this for such uses as bridge inspection when using geometric cameras to collect structural data.

Inverted masts

Posted: Nov 29, 2011

Brand new to our range, this is a useful addition to our extensive range of masts. Generally when a mast is used in the inverted (downwards) direction it is used for inspection purposes such as inspecting the conditions of brickwork within air shafts or inside large tanks. Using a mast instead of wire or rope is preferred to maintain camera or other type of equipment in a stable position during the inspection process.

Solar power used with masts

Posted: Nov 17, 2011

Over the past few months we have provided a significant and increasing number of masts to clients in the UK, Australia, USA, and Europe and the middle east that have been installed to trailers or steel base cabinets both of which will contain large batteries. They also have the new types of solar panels which generate enough power to allow them to be deployed in remote locations and be completely self powered and independent of any wiring or power source.
