Our most popular mast system for the bigger diameter masts used for photography is the 26 meter 152mm or 6" diameter mast mounted horizontally onto a simple to use roof trolley system. The newly designed fully anodised mast has tubes which are keywayed and sections that are keyed this stops the tubes rotating as the mast erects or retracts. You can order a mast that has a 360° rotating base and upper clamp and this enables the entire mast to rotate manually or by electric motor. The new stronger mast has increased tube wall thickness, the base tube is 5mm, tubes 2,3,4 and 5 are 4.5mm and only the last upper tubes are 3.5mm. This creates maximum strength and weight at the bottom whilst keeping weight to a minimum at the top and therefore the use of the guy ropes is significantly less. The rapid deployment of the roof roller trolley system takes all the effort out of deployment as the mast is perfectly balanced on its pivot point. The roof trolley was designed to be user friendly and is light enough for a lady to deploy on her own. The cleverly designed stabilisation / mast level adjuster assembly simply bolts to a standard tow bar.
